Gilmor answered Mortimer Dewey's 3053 call for new recruits to the Knights of St. Cameron, indicating she could trace her heritage to members of the SLDF. Despite being relatively inexperienced, she was issued a brand new BattleMech. Within a short few years she had matured into an outstanding MechWarrior few would recognize from before.[1][2]
