Zusa Parr was a naval communications officer serving aboard the LCS Hadrian during the annihilation of Finmark in 2792.[1]

History[edit]

Leutnant Parr was the on-duty communications officer aboard the Hadrian when the Lyran Commonwealth naval forces assigned with capturing Finmark's orbital shipyards made contact with the planetary government. After several days of negotiations between task force commander Kommodore Gustav Sharae and the Finmark Free Republic, Parr watched as the task force's marine contingent , two Leopard CV DropShips and the Vincent-class destroyers LCS Ulm and LCS Potsdam approached the surrendered shipyards in order to secure them. When the Free Republic detonated a nuclear device inside the shipyard, killing all of the Lyran marines and instantly destroying or disabling each Lyran naval vessel, Parr was left temporarily deafened by the resultant electromagnetic feedback. Parr also bore witness as strategic nuclear devices approached the task force from Finmark itself, destroying the vessels damaged by the shipyard detonation, and to Kommodore Sharae's subsequent order to saturate the planet's surface with the fleet's own nuclear weapons.[1]

In 2841, nearly fifty years after the events in the Finmark system, a now-retired Parr was interviewed for the documentary Kings and Monsters, where she voiced her disgust with Lyran High Command for sending the task force on an inherently-flawed mission.[1]
