Template:InfoBoxStateUnit The formation and history of the First Confederation Reserve Cavalry is somewhat unclear. As of 3025 they were stationed on Liao and rated as a mixed regiment of Veterans and Regulars. [1]
All three battalions were captured or destroyed during the Fourth Succession War and have not been seen on the rolls since.

Fourth Succession War
Operation Rat
At the onset of the assault on Liao by Armed Forces of the Federated Suns the 1st Reserve was defending the planet along with two battalions of House Lu Sann and Vincent's Commandos. Up against them were the 33rd Avalon Hussars and the Blue Star Irregulars.[2]
In the first stages of the battle the 1st was forced to retreat from their positions on the island continent of Anderia to the mountainous north. There they attacked and defeated the Blue Star Irregulars although eventually abandoned the planet when fresh Davion regiments arrived.[2]
Operation Riposte
The remaining units of the 1st landed on Nopah with the intention of taking warehouses in the city of Grinsanders by surprise but were instead ambushed by the Crater Cobras and easily dispatched. The commander of the unit managed to send out a warning to other Liao forces. [3]
