Overview
The 200th Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.[1]
History
The 200th formed a part of LIX Corps, Twentieth Army, and in 2764 was stationed on an undisclosed planet within the Rim Worlds Republic Territorial State.[1]
The 200th took heavy losses during the Periphery Uprising in 2765, and by 2766 the division had been disbanded. At some point, elements of the 200th joined the rebels.[1]
Tactics
The Mechanised Infantry Divisions of the Star League were used offensively to exploit gaps in the enemy front created by the BattleMech Divisions. They also bore the brunt of defensive actions.
Composition History
The Division comprised two Brigades of Mechanised Infantry and a single BattleMech Brigade. Also attached was a Ground Aero Wing.[2]
