The Two Hundred and Eigth BattleMech Division or the Thorin Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.[1]
Contents
History
The 208th formed a part of XXXVI Corps, Sixteenth Army, and in 2764 was stationed in District 3 of the Draconis Combine Military Region. Following the New Vandenberg Uprising and subsequent Periphery uprising the 208th was deployed into the periphery. The 208th took heavy losses during the Periphery Uprising in 2765 and the division was disbanded by 2766.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech division the 208th would have been formed from two brigades of BattleMech regiments and a brigade of mechanized infantry regiments.[2]
