The Twenty-ninth CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the Twenty-ninth was assigned, as a part of the II Corps, Twelfth Army, to District 2 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[2] The Twenty-ninth joined the rebels during the Periphery Uprising,[2] siding with the Magistracy of Canopus in 2766; the Twenty-ninth survived the Uprising, and in 2785 the regiment was disbanded and used to reactivate the First and Second Canopian Light Horse.[1]

As an SLDF CAAN regiment it was composed of BattleMechs, tanks, hovercraft, fighters, blue-water warships, and Marines.[3]
