The Twenty Ninth Royal CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
The unit won twice in a row the Martial Olympiad Best Regiment title. The first time in 2696, during the 15th SLDF Martial Olympiad held on Mars, and then again in 2700.[1]

As an SLDF CAAN regiment it was composed of BattleMechs, tanks, hovercraft, fighters, blue-water warships, and Marines.[2]
