The Second Taurian Pride was the second regiment of the TDF assigned to the VI Corps.

History

The Second Taurian Pride was the first regiment to support Marshal Kithron's call for Protector Grover Shraplen to act as a regent for Erik Marsten-Calderon. The unit held their peace prior to the formation of the Calderon Protectorate, hoping that the Concordat would view them as "loyal opposition" rather than traitors.[1]

After the formation of the Calderon Protectorate the Second was split up and used to garrison Lastpost, Oscar, and Dilk.[2]

Officers

As of 3064 the commanding officer of the unit is Colonel Julian. Brigadier Marra Westin is the Second's true tactical genius however.[1]

As of 3067 the unit is commanded by Colonel Summerheim.[2]

As of 3085 the commanding officer was Colonel August Sims.[3]

Game Rules

When led by Brigadier Marra Westin, the Second can use Banking the Initiative and is considered an Elite command. These abilities are lost if her 'Mech is crippled or destroyed. If she's killed, the opposing force gains the Overrun Combat and Forcing the Initiative special abilities.[4]
