Jihad

Only one of two DCMS units that fought alongside Clan Ghost Bear forces on Dieron in 3077, the 8th Dieron Regulars took heavy damage during the combat drop. Ignoring their losses the 8th forced open the doors of Fortress Dieron, allowing the Ghost Bear's Alpha Galaxy to take the fortress.[1] During the assault on Terra the 8th Dieron Regulars landed in Australia. The Word of Blake defenders scattered the Coalition DropShips as they arrived, spreading the attackers thinly on the ground. As a result the Word of Blake's 7th Division was able to destroy the Eighth Dieron Regulars completely.[2]

Tai-sa Jerry Simms was the commanding officer of the 8th Dieron Regulars in 3077.

Tactics

The 8th Dieron Regulars were skilled in night fighting.The regiment is splitted in 3 equal force. 2 BAttlions attackes in company strength from different direction, because the reserve unit deliver the final blow.[3]

The special operations infantry is skilled to eliminate HQ, use sophisticated equipment to point targets for missile artillery and are well known of their extensive use of demolitions.
