History
The Cluster was deployed on Coudoux in 3059 during Operation Bulldog. They were joined in July by the retreating 17th Garrison Cluster. When the attack came at Coudoux by Inner Sphere forces they offered only token resistance before retreating off planet almost intact. [1]

- The retreating elements of the 17th Garrison Cluster formed part of Hang Mehta's forces on Huntress in 3060, [2] and it is highly likely that the 8th Garrison Cluster were with them.
