The Jihad

Aggerri Aerospace plant on Genoa was undergoing a forty million C-bill renovation in order to build the new Triste Sub-Orbital transport, was the apparent epicenter for at least one of the nuclear strikes.[1] All started in August 3068 when the world was "invited" to become part of the Word of Blake Protectorate[2] by the 35th Division. The Genoans resisted, and the Word a to deploy more forces, including units armed with tactical nuclear weapons.[3] After Genoa defenses killed Precentor Sergio Alveraz because of a fuel depot explosion, WoB decided to use the tactical nuclear weapons. Two nuclear blasts completely annihilated Buche Areste, site of the massive Aggerri Aerospace plant. At least a 100-kiloton blast leveled the Aggerri plant and over forty square miles of the city surrounding it.[1]
