History[edit]

A Draconis Combine native, Akodo Haru began his military career as a soldier in the DCMS before he was captured by Clan Smoke Jaguar during Operation REVIVAL. Made a bondsman of the Clan, Haru eventually rose to command one of the newly-raised Planetary Defense Clusters in 3059. Stationed in the industrial city of Kaio in the Weimar region of Port Arthur, he piloted a Catapult and was killed fighting elements of the First Davion Guards during Operation BIRD DOG.

Almost a century later Haru was remembered as a prime example of those Inner Sphere denizens who converted to Clan ways and fought ferociously for their new rulers, defying Spheroid expectations that the conquered populace would all wholeheartedly welcome liberation from Clan rule.[1]
