During the closing years of the Jihad the Union-class DropShip DCS Blakist Blood was serving as the transport attached to the unit commonly known as Nakayama's Blood, an independent reinforced company operating as part of the Forty-fifth Dieron Regulars. The Blakist Blood was operating alongside a sister ship, the DCS Eternal Blood, and with the Invader-class JumpShip Bloodstar.[1]
