The Bola Pod is an alternate ammunition type available for the Narc Missile Beacon.

Description

The Bola Pod features a small explosive charge which splits open the pod to release series of horizontal chains, effectively creating a 'Mech sized bola to entangle limbs and perhaps cause a fall.

Game Rules

Bola Pods are Level 3 equipment.

The Bola Pod only effects the target if it hits either an arm or a leg. If successful hit on a leg, then the target must make a piloting skill roll to avoid falling over, successful arm hits physical attacks and weapons fire with weapons on that limb suffer a +1 modifier in the following turn.
