Brita Bremer was the commanding officer of the First Battalion of the 1065th Millerton Armored Regiment in 3064.[1]
History
She has been leading the First Battalion, on paper, a heavy tank unit[1], for some time. In 3062 she was due to retire, but the FedCom Civil War put that on hold. Since then, she has sent every week a request to Tharkad to be allowed to retire, but has got no answer. Because of this, she only puts a token effort in running the battalion[2], which has ended with a third of the tanks are down at any one time due to a lack of parts and with the rest suffering from a chronic lack ammo and armor[1].
She spends most of her time knitting, so the situation is not going to improve, but all her soldiers will have a hand-knit scarf to wear during cold weather.[1][2]
