Sang-shao Cao Culverton was the commander of the Red Lancers, with the Capellan Confederation, from at least 3145 to 3151.[1][2]
History[edit]
Operation CELESTIAL REWARD[edit]
During Operation CELESTIAL REWARD, in 3145, the Red Lancers drove the First Federated Suns Armored Cavalry off Almach. During this campaign, Culverton used artillery from Arrow IV Assault Vehicles to pin elements of the Federated Suns unit in place, and then destroying the isolated remains with his heavy BattleMechs.[3] The Armored Cavalry's General Andrea Chapman tried to counter Culverton's tactics by sending a Company of Fulcrum III hovertanks to engage the Lancers' artillery, but the inherent defenses of the Arrow IV Assault Vehicles was enough to foil this, without disrupting the barrage raining down on the AFFS. Sang-shao Culverton personally commended his artillery crews for their bravery during this action.[4][5]
Sian[edit]
Following this victory, Culverton and the Red Lancers returned to Sian, where they remained as at December 3145.[1] He remained on Sian as of February 3151, at which time he helped facilitate the expulsion of the Draconis Combine Ambassador Reina Uehara, following the collapse of the Unity Pact.[2]
