History
The Copperhead was a spacecraft of unspecified type, and in 3060 was part of the Clan Goliath Scorpion forces in the Huntress system. It was the Copperhead who notified Galaxy Commander Rik Myers on 24 August of that year of the entire Clan Smoke Jaguar merchant JumpShip fleet having deployed their jump sails.[1] (These JumpShips were parked at the nadir jump point at the time[2] while the merchant caste DropShips were grounded at the Lootera spaceport, until the reformed Star League would have decided what to do with them.)
The Goliath Scorpion forces had only one WarShip with them, which was identified as the Sagitta. The Copperhead was therefore not a WarShip; it was most likely a JumpShip, or possibly a DropShip.
