Raised in 2857 during the last decade of the Second Succession War, Cupric Byzantium shortly after accepted a contract with the Federated Suns. Disappearing almost quickly as it appeared, the unit was one of many mercenary commands to fall in the brutal combat of the period, being listed as destroyed prior to its conclusion in 2864.[1]
