David Stewart was a member of the Stewart line and held the position of Earl of Stewart.

David Stewart was born on his family's massive estate on Stewart. He showed now interest in training as a mechwarrior, instead focusing on outdoor sportsmanship and acting in Shakespherean theatre. By the mid 2700s, his wit and wisdom has made him not only the most powerful man in the Stewart Commonality but one of the most influential politicians in the Free Worlds League as a whole[1].
Unable to have children of his own, David instead became a father figure to the young Kenyon Marik, whose father Ewan was frequently away on Terra.
