Major Diane Specter was the commander of Baker Battalion ("The Specters"), Delta Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons between 3024 and 3028.[1]

Specter took command of Baker Battalion in 3024, after which they adopted "The Specters" as a nickname, a moniker they subsequently lived up to with their penchant for striking and vanishing. As a commander, Specter stressed the value of combined arms, and proved herself to be a bright, innovative and professional officer.
Her unit saw fierce action during the Battle of Misery in 3028, and she was killed during the fighting.[1]

Diane Specter was known to pilot a BattleMaster BattleMech.[1]
