History
Ellis Simonsen was born and raised in an space station orbiting Coromodir V, the only child of a team of engineers. He had a weird childhood, but nevertheless managed to develop a normal personality.
He went to a military academy on Coromodir VI and after additional schooling joined the Royal Guard. He was quickly promoted to Lieutenant in 3022 a new commanding officer though; he would blindly obey illegal orders. He incapacitated his commanding officer and joined the defense of House Arano until he saw it was a lost cause. After ensuring his command escaped off-world, he started working as a mercenary, monitoring the Aurigan Coalition situation just in case a situation arises that allows him to honor his oaths to House Arano.
Cannonicity
Ellis "Blockade" Simonsen is one of the Ronin MechWarriors designed for the BattleTech (video game). Featured only in the apocryphal computer game BattleTech video game, the character is considered apocryphal as well.[1]
