System Description[edit]
The Coromodir system is located near the Guldra and Itrom systems.[3] The system has two habitable planets, and the two together count for nearly three billion inhabitants. As of 3026, about fifty thousand people lived on stations around the two habitable planets, in permanent bases on other planets and moons, or on stations near the jump points.[1]
System History[edit]
A group of wealthy independent traders and industrialists from the Free Worlds League, inspired by the colonization of Taurus, first settled Coromodir VI around the same time as similar groups colonized Guldra, Mechdur, and Itrom. It later became part of the Taurian Concordat,[5] but the Taurians withdrew shortly before 2870. The system then became part of the Aurigan Trade Partnership and in 2910 capital of the Aurigan Coalition.[6]

Coromodir V is the fifth planet in the Coromodir system. The primary industries are agriculture and mining.[1]
Planetary History[edit]
Coromodir V was ruled by House Espinosa until the fall of that House at the end of the Restoration War.[51]
Geography[edit]
A hot world, with a single large ocean spanning the equator. The northern hemisphere is arid, with savannah and forest near the arctic circle icecap that provides water for farming. Most of the population is in the temperate southern continent along the ocean.[1]

Coromodir VI is the sixth planet in the Coromodir system and is the capital world of the Aurigan Coalition centered in an old Taurian Concordat Fortress.[1]
Planetary History[edit]
The Taurian Concordat governed Coromodir for many years. During this time, they built a palace fortress in Cordia City. After they withdrew, this became the seat of House Arano.[53] Coromodir VI was the site of the coup that deposed Kamea Arano,[54] and the site of the final battle of the Restoration War.[55] During that battle, the Fortress-class DropShip Iberia crashed on the surface of the planet, creating a "Little Ice Age."[56]
Since the Taurian withdrawal, House Arano have ruled Coromodir, except for a brief period during the Aurigan Directorate when it fell under the control of House Espinosa.[6][54]
