History
Formation
The II Triarii Protectors (also known as the Second Triarii), are the garrison unit for Prefecture II. This unit is notable because many of its members come from the lower castes of Clan Nova Cat, many of them from Shitara.[1]
In 3085 the II Triarii is stationed on Ashio in Prefecture II of the Republic of the Sphere.[2]
During the Draconis Combine invasion of the Republic, the Second Triarii Protectors defended Biham against the 2nd Sword of Light in 3135. They used multiple fast strikes by hovercraft to delay the Sword of Light unit long enough for artillery to pound the Combine unit.[3]
