Jonas Heathcote was, as of 3135, a Major in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns. His teams, part of the Department of Military Intelligence, primarily analyzed BattleMechs and their capabilities. One resulting report, focused on dubious and dysfunctional designs, was given to General Raymond Gideon of MI2.[1]
