History[edit]
Kurt was born into Clan Goliath Scorpion, into an undistinguished Shaffer bloodline, and dreamed of returning to the Inner Sphere. When the Dragoon Compromise was announced, Kurt jumped at the chance to join Jaime Wolf and Joshua Wolf's force, and successfully Trialed for a slot.
However once in the Inner Sphere he became disillusioned with the fallen nature of the Successor States. Kurt participated in the Battle of Misery in 3028, and died during the fighting, a bitter shadow of his younger enthusiastic self.[1][2]
BattleMech[edit]
Brunner piloted a Stinger LAM, most likely the STG-A5.[1][2]
