Description

The Laser Inhibiting Warhead (LI Warhead) was developed circa 3053 by New Avalon Institute of Science as a defensive missile system for Arrow 4 launchers. Upon launch it released gas which thanks to intense prismatic qualities diffused laser beams and obscures vision. LI Warhead gas raises higher than smoke, though disperses more quickly.

Game Rules

In Classic BattleTech game rules, the LI Warhead creates gas cloud in target hex and all surrounding up to level 2 height blocking visibility in the same way smoke does for 2 rounds. Additionally all Laser-based weaponry receives -2 damage penalty while shooting through gas cloud.
