Michael Dean "M. D." Tompkins was a Dragon's Fury MechWarrior during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Tompkins had black hair and brown eyes.[1]
History[edit]
Originally a member of a Republic of the Sphere militia on Galatia III, following the Blackout Tompkins joined the pro-Draconis Combine Dragon's Fury faction, becoming a member of the The Brotherhood Regiment. A know-it-all, who enjoyed using his initials "M. D." to suggest he was a medical doctor, Tompkins did not however have any credentials to back up his pretentions. While his stream of useless trivia during long patrols were generally harmless, his attempts to "assist" in repairing damaged equipment often got him in trouble, as despite his self-belief he had no aptitude as a Technician.[1]
As of 3133, Tompkins commanded a Command Lance within The Brotherhood, which included A. Kirasawa, Q. Prusis and L. Sheehan.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Tompkins was known to have piloted a Tundra Wolf BattleMech, serial number WC091-02A, nicknamed "Doctor T". Initially entering into service with Clan Wolf during the Word of Blake Jihad, the 'Mech experienced combat during the liberation of Rigil Kentarus by Stone's Coalition, before joining the Republic of the Sphere after the war. Its Wolf warrior however died shortly afterwards, fighting raiders from the Free Worlds League on Abadan.[1]
