Redemption and Malice is a short story by Blaine Lee Pardoe. It was properly released by CGL in PDF format through a download link that was emailed out on 28 February 2020 to backers of the 2019 Clan Invasion crowdfunding campaign; some people were able to purchase it early when the story was briefly available as a digital product on the CGL webstore on 6 February due to an oversight.
The story mentioned two previously unknown BattleMech designs and introduced the borrack, an alien riding beast. It also hinted at The Clave and, through the reveal of the main protagonist's full name at the end, suggests it to be a remnant of Clan Wolverine.
