The Saffel Protectorate Militia is one of the many militias raised by Word of Blake to defend the Word of Blake Protectorate. The unit was deployed in Saffel. As of 3075 it was the only unit raised from this planet.[1]

History[edit]

The Saffel Protectorate Militia was raised after the Thirty-second Division invaded Saffel in 3068. The Thirty-second would be pivotal in the formation of the Saffel Protectorate Militia. [2]

Saffel was evidently liberated by the end of 3077 by allied coalition forces, as the administration of the HPG facility on Saffel had reverted to ComStar by the end of November. However, in early December a press notice was issued by ComStar to other nearby ComStar facilities indicating that the Saffel HPG had been taken offline due to unspecified local technical difficulties.[3]
