Description

The Tabanid is the lightest of the Hive drone AeroSpace Fighters used by the Word of Blake. The Tabanid is the fastest of the Hive fighters, designed as an interceptor and to perform quick slashing attacks against enemy forces. It also carries a Beagle Active Probe so it can cut through enemy jamming. Protection is provided by nine tons of Heavy Ferro-Aluminum armor. The Tabanid is controlled by an Improved Aerospace Smart Robotic Control System instead of a human pilot.

Armament

The Tabanid is equipped with a single ER Large Laser. This allows the fighter to engage at long range and continue harrying a target without worrying about minimum range considerations.

Variants

There are no known variants of the Tabanid drone fighter.
