History
Tigna Zatka, on 3027, was a Sho-sa. On 1 March, he lead three companies of the 2nd Sword on an attack against the planet Pacifica, searching to destroy the mercenary unit Kell Hounds, to avenge the humiliation the mercenaries have inflicted to the regiment during the Battle of Mallory's World (3013). However, the kuritan commander delayed the assault after beinng informed of the imminent visit on planet of the Hauptmann-General Sarah Joss and the Federated Suns Colonel Ardan Sortek, expecting to score a larger victory.[2]
However, the First Battle of Pacifica, as the Hounds later called it, it didn't went as the kuritans expected: the Hounds expected them, so the 2nd Sword fell into a carefully laid trap, suffering heavy losses even before abandoning their landing zone. Tigna assisted to the debacle without abandoning his Overlord (DropShip class), but when his men had suffered six losses, he get out. Without attacking initially to the stunned Hounds, Zatka slowly approached them, while he tell his impressive list of combats and victories, and finally defied any enemy to duel him. Ardan Sortek, piloting a borrowed Victor, accepted the offer. Both pilots foungt a daring duel, which Sortek won, after causing massive damage to Tigna's 'Mech. The Awesome's reactor blowned, and Zatka barely managed to eject before his 'Mech was destroyed. The Sho-sa's 'Mech destruction signaled the end of the battle: the surviving kuritnas' moral was broken, so they boarded their DropShips and departed offplanet.[3]
