Convinced she will one day become Khan, the driven Tintavel Tseng strove purposefully to achieve this, even challenging Star Colonel Isis Bekker-Florala for command of the Fifth Bear Guards, ultimately losing the unaugmented Trial though Bekker-Florala graciously allowed her to retain command of her Trinary.[1]
Continuing to serve in the Fifth Bear Guards as of 3150, when the Draconis Combine sent the Third An Ting Legion from their station on Ascella to reclaim the recently taken Lambrecht they believed surprise would carry the day as the performed a combat drop onto Tseng's Trinary Charlie. Rather than scatter as the Legion hoped, Tseng's Star of Hammerheads and Ursuses instead held firm, refusing to retreat and allowing the rest of Trinary Charile to flank them and ensure the eventual defeat of the An Ting Legion.[1]
The most notable event of this engagement saw Tintavel Tseng defeat a Tai-is Ostsol in a one-on-one duel despite a twenty-five ton weight difference favoring the Kurita warrior. Evening considerably praise both for herself and her tough little BattleMech, the ristar Tseng was widely believed to challenge Bekker-Florala again for command of the entire Fifth Bear Guards, this time in an augmented Trial.[1]
BattleMechs[edit]
Though technically worthy of a OmniMech, Tintavel Tseng favored the resilient 45-ton Hammerhead BattleMech, considering that it amply embodied the strength and unyielding resolve of the Ghost Bear. Thanks to a strange relationship with a merchant of Clan Sea Fox's Alpha Aimag, she has a number of Sea Fox techs under contract to service her 'Mech, ensuring that it is free from the occasional gremlins that other exported examples experience.[1]
