Description

After liberation of world of Jeanette, the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery High Command decided to try experimental missile submarine design to defend worlds using ancient terran sea going designs example. Due to expense, they decided to not include Capital Ship weaponary and use ship as Tactial Fire Support vessel. Also designed from leasons from Clan Invasion that ship can be used as mobile undersea command post.

Triton Class was constructed provide artillery fire support for troops, specially those equipt with TAG gear.

In peace time, the ship can be used a transport vessel, the ship design was original of a civilan cargo vessels. This gives the ship long duration for crew, which has prompted some civilian authorities to have Triton built for civilan use.

Only three ships have been constructed of the class. High Command is still evaluating its performance and economic feasiablity of the design for use on other worlds.

Armament

Armed with six Shigunga Arrow IV artillery batteries, with 90 missiles for its launchers. The ship's only close in weaponary is its six 20-tube Long Range Torpedo launchers, (three mounted on bow, 1 launcher mounted left, right, and rear archs.) with six tons of ammunition for them.

Cargo

Ship has 6,011 tons cargo capacity which has four doors.
