Early life
Ryder was born into a Lyran MechWarrior family.
Career
Ryder would spend time with Monk's Marauders Mercenary unit before joining the First Somerset Strikers.[1]

Valten Ryder piloted his family's Centurion during the early stages of his time with the First Somerset Strikers, before receiving a prototype BSW-X1 Bushwacker.
Notes
- An apocryphal version of the Valten Ryder's Bushwacker, dubbed the High Roller, is one of the Hero 'Mechs in the MechWarrior Online video game.
