The Zeerga is a predatory species native to the "homeworld" of Clan Wolf (though it is unclear what planet the author considered to be Clan Wolf's homeworld as of 3052). Nothing else is explained about the creature. The reference to a "bull" challenge and a "foal" seems to indicate a largish animal invoking comparison with bovine or equine Terran animals.[1]
This animal played an important part in the Zeerga Bull Challenge.[1]
Zeergas were also used in circus acts such as those in the Wolf Caravan. The Clan Wolf MechWarrior Jersano would begin his life in this circus and working with these vicious beasts.[2]
