One of the most important roles of Jump Infantry is anti-'Mech combat, the destruction of BattleMechs by various means. The Third Ueda Infantry of the 3rd Drakøns is one such unit, and quite typical of similar units throughout the Inner Sphere. However, their numbers have been reduced since the invasion of Clan Ghost Bear, with many having been absorbed into its touman following the creation of the Ghost Bear Dominion. However, they still pose a threat to any 'Mech, whether of Clan or Inner Sphere origin, they can get their hands on.[1]


The Cavaliers use Blazer Laser Rifles and Heavy Support Lasers, a deadly mix of anti-infantry and anti-armor firepower. They are also trained in specific tactics for destroying 'Mechs.
