Armond Heller was an officer within the Republic Armed Forces who at some point after the end of the Jihad served as an instructor at Sandhurst Military Academy on Terra. Armond Heller, then a Brigadier General, taught at least one course: MILHIST 305-A: Campaigns of 3067 to 3081.[1]

- The BattleTech sourcebook Total Chaos is presented in-universe as being a course text for the MILHIST 305A course, with Brigadier Heller providing an introduction that differentiates MILHIST 305A from other courses in the same series, MILHIST 305B: Political Realities of the Jihad Era and MILHIST 305C: Political Wars of the Jihad Era.
