Overview[edit]

Armorcast worked on several Battletech kits with FASA.

History[edit]

From 1997 until December 31st 2007 the company produced several kits.

Clan Elemental Battle Armor[edit]

The Clan Elemental Battle Armor was a 2" (50mm) tall model sculpted by Tim DuPertuis and Dave Summers from a WizKids original design. The model was scaled for use with 28mm miniatures and Armorcast's 1/60th scale 'Mechs.

The kit contained 5 parts made of lead free pewter: Body/legs, backpack, left claw arm, right laser arm and right machine gun arm. Each arm type has 5 different angles that are randomly packed in the blisters to give more variety in posing the model. The backpack is a separate piece that can be made detachable with Blu-Tack, rare earth magnets or pinning.

The pewter 30mm base with a tech deck plate design can be used as is or covered with flock for outdoor battles. The model is supplied unpainted and assembly is required.

Atlas Inner Sphere BattleMech[edit]

This 10.5" (26.5cm) tall Atlas model was sculpted by Mike Biasi from a WizKids original design. The model was scaled for use with 28mm miniatures and was built to 1/60th scale. The kit contained 41 parts made of durable polyurethane resin and lead free pewter. Features include a pivoting waist and arms that elevate and turn. The legs may be posed with light modifications. The model was supplied unpainted and assembly is required. This model kit was recommended for experienced modelers.

Armored Flatbed Truck[edit]

The Flatbed Truck was made by sculptor Philip Miller. The model is 2.5" wide by 6.75" long.

Mad Cat OmniMech[edit]

This 8.25" (21cm) tall Mad Cat model was sculpted by Mike Biasi from a WizKids original design. The model was scaled for use with 28mm miniatures and was built to 1/60th scale. The kit contained 68 parts made of durable polyurethane resin and lead free pewter. Features include a pivoting waist and guns that elevate and turn. The legs are posable with light modifications. Weapons will be interchangable with future OmniMech weapons.

Vulture Clan OmniMech[edit]

This 8.25" (21cm) tall Vulture model was sculpted by Mike Biasi from a WizKids original design. The model was scaled for use with 28mm miniatures and was built to 1/60th scale. The kit contained 32 parts made of durable polyurethane resin and lead free pewter. Features include a pivoting waist and guns that elevate and turn. The legs are posable with light modifications. The model was supplied unpainted and assembly is required. This model kit is recommended for experienced modelers.
