Major General Desmond Leonardi was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's XV Corps as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
A native of the Terran Hegemony world of Connaught, Leonardi was an average student at the War Academy of Mars, and did not distinguish himself post graduation until the War of Davion Succession. Serving with Aleksandr Kerensky during that conflict, he demonstrated a level of strategic skill, when he assumed command of a BattleMech Battalion whose CO had been killed fighting the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery.
This experience fighting the Draconis Combine, and his proven abilities under pressure, were later the basis for his promotion to lead the Combine based XV Corps.[1]
