Elias "the Count" Clifton was the commanding officer of Clifton's Rangers as of 3025.[1]

Major Clifton, serving with Clifton's Rangers under contract with the Free Worlds League, was stationed on Epsilon in 3025.[2] Clifton's gaunt, pale appearance and his habit of communicating through chilling glares earned him the nickname "the Count" from his men, who respected him but remained more than a little scared of him.[1]
