Lieutenant General Harris Mansfield was the commander of a BattleMech Brigade, within the Star League Defense Force's 127th Mechanized Infantry Division, as of 2764.[1]

Passed over for Division command in favor of Lieutenant General Stefan Steiner, Mansfield blamed the prejudice against MechWarrior's of XLII Corps CO Major General Winnie Museveni, without which he believed he would have been promoted to lead the 127th Mechanized Infantry Division.[1]
