Ian Hannan was a MechWarrior, serving with the Seventeenth Skye Rangers, during the FedCom Civil War.[1]

History[edit]
A native of Skye, with a family farm in the hills outside the city of New London, Ian was a Free Skye loyalist. Serving with the Seventeenth Skye Rangers during the FedCom Civil War, Ian fought in the Fifteenth Battle of Hesperus II in 3065. Surviving the near destruction of his unit, Ian returned to Skye just before the Word of Blake Jihad, remaining on his family's farm.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Ian was known to have piloted a Zeus BattleMech, serial number LA9155-43F. Rebuilt several times, including as a Clan Invasion era refit and following the FedCom Civil War battles on Hesperus II, it was hidden away in a bunker on the Hannan family farm on Skye during the Jihad. Surviving until the 3130s, this 'Mech was eventually inherited by Ian's great-grandson Viktor Hannan, who nicknamed it "Ian" in his honor.[1]
