Star Captain Jason was a Freeborn Clan Jade Falcon Elemental during Operation REVIVAL.[1][2]
History[edit]
Born to a labor-caste mother and failed Elemental-turned-scientist-caste father, Jason was able to pass his Trial of Position with a "purloined" Elemental suit to becomee become one of a handful of Freebirth Elementals in Clan Jade Falcon. He worked hard to overcome the anti-freebirth bias of his Clan through diligence and his intelligence to reach the rank of Star Captain and command of Delta Trinary in the Eighty-ninth Falcon Striker Cluster within Clan Jade Falcon's Vau Galaxy under Galaxy Commander Angeline Mattlov.[1][2]
His success, and that of his Cluster's mostly Freeborn Warriors, were secretly an embarrassment to Clan Jade Falcon. Their achievements disproved the traditional idea that Freeborn Warriors were only fit for garrison and other second-line duties. Clan Jade Falcon's leaders wanted to disband the unit, but losses in combat plus the popularity of the unit with the other castes prevented them from taking any action.[2]
Jason would be wounded during the fighting on Tukayyid in 3052.[1]
