Vice Admiral Jean-Paul Moreau was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 44th Pursuit Squadron as of 2764.[1]

Moreau liked to drink and tell off-color jokes, vices he shared with Cho-sho Phillip Garson, and which he used to create a cordial relationship with the commander of the Draconis Combine Squadron which shadowed the 44th Pursuit Squadron. Admiral Marina Akkayev-Cameron overlooked this fraternizing, especially since Moreau had obtained small items of intelligence from Garson.[1]
