Lorcan Nagle was a Draconis Combine MechWarrior active during the Dark Age era.[1]
History[edit]
Born on Worrell, Lorcan Nagle would enter the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, entering serving with the Ryuken-ni straight out of the academy. Nagle's first posting on Barlow's Folly would see his abilities and determination tested when the Ryuken-ni came under attack by the combined forces of the Fourth Federated Suns Lancers, Second Robinson Rangers and Twenty-first Illician Rangers as part of the Federated Suns' Operation PELAYO in April 3141.[1]
With much of the veteran elements of the Ryuken-ni still recovering from the brutal fighting in the Draconis Reach, it fell to the newly arrived rookies like Nagle to bolster the Combine defenses long enough for the DCMS forces to organize a safe withdrawal to Irurzun. During the fighting on Barrow's Folly Lorcan was selected to escort Tai-sa Hugo Vasquez when the commander sought to high ground to better observe the battle, being wounded during the evacuation. Though he missed out on the final moments, his actions on Barlow's End did earn him promotion to Chu-i and lance command just before Duke of Robinson Corwin Sandoval's forces hit Irurzun.[1]
