Dai-i Michael Yamaguchi was an officer in the Twelfth New Samarkand Regulars' Twelfth New Samarkand Aerospace Wing, with the Draconis Combine, as of 3145.[1]

Yamaguchi, with the Twelfth New Samarkand Regulars' Twelfth New Samarkand Aerospace Wing, was based on New Samarkand as of 3145. At this time Yamaguchi was the object of the ire of the Twelfth Regulars' CO, Tai-sa William Halka, who believed Yamaguchi had exhausted his pilots with ceaseless patrols. Halka and Yamaguchi nearly came to blows over this disagreement, as Halka feared if New Samarkand was attacked by Clan Snow Raven, his aerospace force would quickly fold.[1]
