Miles Waddell was a barkeeper from Villareal city, on Baranda in 3075.[1]

When on 9 September 3075 the local newspaper Villareal Life and Times reported that Major General Raymond-Roger Marsin had visited the Tom Rollat Memorial Hospital to speak with the thirty-nine victims of the previous week pirate raid and then in an impromptu conference where after complaining of the lack of help from New Avalon, and pledged 700,000 pounds of his own fortune to rebuild those homes and businesses that have felt the sting of piracy and wanton destruction, he was one of the many that believed that this action was only his way to gather traction, built his own power base here in the Outback and then leave.[1]
