Mister Yurei was a kukomaku "fixer" for the local yakuza on Solaris VII. He was the liaison between yakuza families and the various criminal organizations that tried to carve out a slice of the same pie. In 3068 he was missing some finger digits.
He was most of the time escorted by 4 yakuza, one from each of the most predominate families in Solaris City, though when visiting brothels in Kobe or Opium Dens in Cathay he was alone.
He was skimming money from the Seimeiyoshi-rengo by selling high value information to some of the local gangs to hijack that cargo and then split earnings. Since 3067 he was making this king of business with Szabian's Renegades.
Unfortunately for him he was targeted by The Bounty Hunter team while they tried to catch Kristof Szabian. He was blackmailed to organize the raid that destroyed the gang and unknown to him he was sold to his Yakuza bosses, to be precise Boss Ito from the Hamagachi Clan, one of the most affected clans of his skimming tactics.[1]
It is unknown which was his end, most probably a slow and painful death.[citation needed]
