Rafeny was a Trueborn failed warrior which became a tank commander which participated in a Mad Stampede.

Rafeny was probably a 'Mech pilot which failed his Trial of Position, but he succeeded into another, becoming a tank pilot. On 7 April 3130, he was on a stables on the planet Csesztreg, mounting a unicorn stallion while taking care of the animals. He fell, without being hurt, and his stablemaster invited him to eat with him and his family, to which he accepted.
Eleven years later, on 1 February 3141, he participated in a Mad Stampede into Clan Jade Falcon's space, on Denizli. He talked with his tank's crew, Skarleth, Brayden and Arismally, planning the race. They were paired with a Hephaestus. On 2 February, they were on the ground and departed. Rafeny's point took advantage to their rivals, crossing a trees' labyrinth. A day later, the Falcon's garrison spotted them, and several VTOL began following them. When the Horses began losing tanks, due to Falcon's fire or accidents, Rafeny directed the different units to pick up the crews. A Fire Moth pursued his tank, but it crashed and blown by his pilot's own impatience. A Piranha hit Rafeny's tank, but the 'Mech was downed too, and its pilot asked them to be taken bondsman, and Rafeny accepted. As his tank was unable to continue, Rafeny's crew had to leave them behind and evacuate. A day later, their DropShip was departing, and Rafeny talked with Arismally, sharing with her his intentions to secure his genetic legacy having a freeborn child.[1]
Vehicle[edit]
During the Mad Stampede, Rafeny commanded a Epona tank.[1]
