Zhong-shao Rhys Ryan was the commander of the Third Sian Dragoons' Fifty-fourth Gei Fu Lancers, with the Capellan Confederation, from at least 3144 to 3145.[1]

Ryan participated in Operation CELESTIAL REWARD, the Capellan invasion of the Federated Suns in 3144, including the failed attempt to take Almach. During the fighting on Almach, Ryan's 'Mech was brought down by a Leftenant Jose-Maria Boruta of the First Federated Suns Armored Cavalry, in a Condor heavy hover tank.[2] Ryan however survived this engagement, and with the Third Sian Dragoons' Fifty-fourth Gei Fu Lancers, was based on Shuen Wan as of December 3145.[1]

Ryan was known to have piloted a Men Shen OmniMech.[2]
